...is a poet who delights in misusing words, an artist who enjoys making incomprehensible images, then joyfully explaining them with outlandish tales of phantasmagorical creatures. She is also a fictitious character, casting herself as the Unreliable Narrator who haphazardly explains persnickety details about the abstract comics of Geranium Lake Properties while leaving essential (and more fascinating) questions unanswered. Favorite holiday: November 24, the day Joseph Glidden was issued a U. S. patent for barbed wire in 1874.
